I heard a rumor that the humans have to set their time devices forward an hour this weekend for "Daylight Savings Time" or something silly like that.Words like "losing an hour of sleep", "have to get up while it's still dark outside" are being thrown around our house...

Whippets absolutely do not endorse any idea or proposal that equals less sleep. Even if it means longer days and more time in the backyard. Less sleep should not be promoted as a good thing. Ever.

brrr. We think the high was like 24 degrees today.

We don't blog when it's cold,in fact we don't do much of anything when it's cold.

Except sleep, eat (usually things that aren't intended for us to eat- like that bowl of yummy meatballs we ~~stole~~ enjoyed last night, except for the broken bowl part...yuck to broken glass.), sleep, eat some more (crayons), and bark at squirrels who are too stupid to know that when it's 24 degrees outside you need to just stay in bed.

And mom doesn't take pictures of us when it's cold, or maybe she just doesn't take pictures of us anymore. She's to blame for there not being any new fabulous pictures of us on here.

That's right, blame her.

We're still mad about this- but figured we needed to get over it wish you a Merry Christmas anyways.
The Lady Human's idea of a happy holiday includes packing us back into that darn car for 6 hours with the screaming tiny humans tomorrow, so we can hang out sans backyard for almost a month.

What's so merry about that??

I had my revenge though- tried to steal a tray of brownies cooling on the stove top....knocked half off before discovering they were too burnt for even ME to enjoy.

We were ~~forced~~ ~~bribed~~ corralled into the car for a long long long long drive. Finally after a short drive thru run (many thanks to the man there who saw us in the back and gave Mom dog biscuits as a treat for us!), and then more driving and driving and driving....

We arrived at our destination.

(Gromit would like to add that he had to go to the bathroom before we got in the car...and he deserves something special for holding it for almost 7 hours....) And after thorougly sniffing our grandparents, we've settled into a quiet life in the country, squirrel and cat-watching from the window. The only downside (for Nana) is that there's no fenced backyard for us to do zoomies in.

For some reason, she doesn't appreciate indoor zoomies. Not sure why...

So Mom got these bully sticks for us to review here on our blog. They arrived in the mail today. She wasn't fast enough getting the scissors to open them, so while she put boy kid down for a nap, we decided to help ourselves.
